Bustān al-Salāṭīn: Representation of Malay Islamic Civilization (Aceh) in the 17th Century

Bustān al-Salāṭīn is a traditional Islamic text that tells about the history of Malay Islam, especially Aceh. Written in 17th century by Shaykh al-Islām named Nūr al-Dīn al-Ranīrī (d. 1659), who was then under rule Sultan Iskandar Thani (1636-1641). This article discusses how represents formation Aceh sultanate government system, sultan power when this manuscript written, their political behavior, to evidence artifacts found based on information manuscript. The also contains 17th-century intellectual discourse as marker early development Islam world. Reform Muslim religious practices change wujūdīyah Sufism. preparation socio-religious conditions advancing fields politics and development. argues not only ancient but more than which can be proven archaeologically whose existence still exists today. Naskah tersebut juga berisi wacana intelektual sebagai penanda awal berkembang dunia Melayu. Reformasi praktik keagamaan umat untuk mengubah sufism wujūdīyah. Penyusunan didasarkan pada kondisi sosial maju bidang dan perkembangan Islam. berargumen bahwa bukan saja kuno Melayu, melainkan lebih dari dapat dibuktikan secara arkeologis keberadaannya masih ada sampai sekarang. Disamping berkontribusi tradisi ziarah para dimana lumrah terjadi Jawa belahan lainnya.
